That’s the only explanation for the latest Nikki Haley story.
So she’s pretending to be a Christian, and she and President Obama are “ragheads”.
Wacky.
Contra Stacy McCain, I think that “raghead” is actually being used quite correctly as a slur here — both male and female devout Sikhs do wear headgear, which could be called “rags” by the not-so-nice. ”Raghead” can be correctly used for both Muslims and Sikhs, just as “gook” serves for both Koreans and Vietnamese.
But I wholeheartedly agree with his conclusion:
Maybe Nikki Haley actually is an Insatiable Punjabi She-Devil, or maybe not. I just don’t care anymore. She needs to win this election if only because her enemies so richly deserve defeat.
Yes.
(Though I might be even more likely to support her if she actually were an insatiable Punjabi she-devil. Just sayin’.)
Anyway, Haley is the whip-smart, Sarah Palin-endorsed, Mark Sanford-following (ideologically speaking, I mean), conservative Republican and Tea Party favourite for the SC gubernatorial nomination.
If I do have any South Carolinian readers, I strongly urge them to vote for her on Tuesday.
And if she wins the nomination, I may have to send a few dollars her way for the general election campaign.

They deserve to lose even more then Specter did.
